YAY!! So pretty much everything I wanted to happen in football happened yesterday -- Eli Manning choked and the Giants were shutout, the Texans beat the Colts, the Redskins won without RG3, Adrian Peterson showed the Rams how boss he is, but most importantly my 49ers beat the Patriots in Foxborough. Last night's 49ers-Patriots game was probably the best Sunday night football this season. The 49ers stunned the Pats (and most of America) in the first half by only allowing 3 points, but the Patriots made adjustments by changing the tempo of the game and put out a valiant effort for a comeback. While watching the second half it was literally hard for me to breathe! The 9ers were really caught off guard with the Pats' no huddle situations, but thankfully they were able to withstand the Pats back-to-back-to-back-to-back touchdowns. The weather also made this an exciting game as there were lots of turnovers and botched snaps...for a while it looked like they were playing a game of hot potato since no one could hang on to the ball.
With this win, the 49ers have CLINCHED a playoff spot! Now they just have to beat the Seahawks next week to ensure their win of the NFC West :)
